I've heard Singapore imports have issues with wiring due to humidity over there. Any one know if theres any truth to that?
My car is ex Singapore, having spent the first 6 years of its life there. I can think of no issues i've experienced relating to that, however my brother had an ex Singapore Mercedes which was a nightmare with the electrics. I believe BMW had some issues as well.
Personally it does not concern me that my car is ex Singapore. How it's been used and maintained in the last 18 years is more important.
As for the accident histories, there only seem to be a couple of cars in NZ tainted and both are mentioned in this thread. Good luck in your hunt.
