Default Color recommendation for Turbo 3.6

Hi all,

I would like to seek for your advice and suggestion on the color recommendation on my 3.6 project. Some of my friends said Speed Yellow, some said black, some even said Gulf blue with racing stripes or red in Martini stripes.

For me, seeing the real pictures in different color tone will help. If possible, please share with me on any recommendations.

Thanks,

Timmy

Midnight blue is a good color (every 3.6 that I know of in the Detroit area is midnight blue!) I recommend Arrow blue or Turquoise blue.

I have the non metallic black (clear coat). I like it. Midnight blue i great too. why don;t you go for the 3.6 S spoiler, the one without the rubber. That's one why to change the colour...

try and find a pic of a turbo in tahoe blue. Its a light blue metallic that looks awesome on a wide body car. It is also befitting of the era - bright yuppy loud colour.

Really? Wow. The car I saw in the flesh and nearly bought was much more electric blue than that. Your pic looks more greeny. Anyway a lush colour in the flesh and worth checking out. Thanks for posting the pic.

I think it depends on the light. My color looks lighter (kind of washed out) in sunlight so I like to photograph it on overcast days. Maritime blue, for example, has a pinkish hue in sunlight but looks spectacular out of the sunlight. Seems like all the colors that Porsche painted 964's with look different in sunlight.

schieffer gray is a nice colour too. I believe it's the same colour as the one from Metal Guru.
My previous 911 SC was that colour and I still miss it.
