Hi,

the best headers are : http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/930/

You can found copy like GSF (mine), OBX... for $1000 instead of $3000 for B&B

Sorry you mean used headers... maybe on ebay

hi,
about the OBX i check it already in ebay, good price, but i want to know if this will fit on 964 3.3 turbo 1992? is this direct fit or need some customation?
because i think this is for 930 turbo.
and the GSF headers is it fit on 964 3.3 turbo.?
with of this two is much more better?

the B&B is a good headers but its too much expensive.

i need good price.

thank you for the information.

GSF, OBX, B&B are all sub-par for the same reasons: Poor fit and the wrong material (S.S. 304). All will crack within two-three years.
At the moment RarlyL8 headers are the best due to fit and material (S.S. 321) for a 3.3. They don't make headers for 3.6's yet.

I was under the impression these headers fitted the 3.6 as well....good think I did not order like crazy. So there are no off the shelf headers for the 3.6?

5 years ago my GSF headers, a lot of dyno test, 4 years at 425HP and 1 year at 500HP, red hot headers on the dyno but NO CRACK, like new

The GSF need a lot of customisation though. I have the same, and my father and I fitted them. Things that needed modifying:

1. Heater pipe take-off - it's a different angle/diameter on the 964 to the 930
2. Turbocharger mounting flange - won't fit with all of the original bolts
3. Oil return pipework - either using a custom hose and connector, or with a backdated (930) sump return line.
4. Connecting pipework to the blower motors in the arches needed modifying as it was at the wrong angle.
5. Header to exhaust port flange (some are slightly too high, protrude and thus leak - we've got it down to point where only one port is leaking now - the constant ticking of that last one still drives me round the bend though!)

That said, they are exceptionally cheap compared to the other available brands, and the performance is definitely a good improvement over standard.

Well I could be wrong about that. Best to check with Brian himself.

Another drawback to the GSF headers is the ground clearance, or lack thereof. Some have said you will scrape everything taller than a dime with GSF's. They look low too, which I don't care for.

+1 on a lot of work to make them fit and they are to low. Doesn't look great imho either but cheap as hell.

Buy quality cry once ?

had no problems thus far with my B&B exhaust, although reading their ad i did find this a bit of a laugh
"B&B's Complete Turbo Exhaust System all but eliminates notorious 930 Turbo lag"

heh..

I will try the RARLYL8 headers, bigger size (41mm) than my GSF headers (38mm) and i hope less pressure variation with the "Y" pipe for wastegate... I will tell you if they are much better than B&B/GSF/OBX headers, like Brian from RARLYL8 say
