Looks like a pretty nice graph.
What went wrong on 3500 rpm? Sensors didn't register?

Looks like you went a little rich at 2750 rpm and stayed at 10.3/1. If you adjusted your fuel curve to 12/1 (even 12.5/1 if you were confident that all cylinders were receiving nearly the same flow) you would bump your torque up considerably.
Still, 440 with no cat sounds like fun.

Thanks!
At 3500rpms the dyno sensor that attaches to the plug wire didn't register properly. Asked the dyno operator why - he said it was related to the size of the wire... that the newer coil-on-plug systems they typically dyno use a smaller plug wire that fits better into the holder they have.

Metal - it's a ton of fun with the power it's putting out.
I'm a fan of running turbo motors rich - but, I agree that flat 10.3 is way too rich and I'd have it leaned out if I thought it was accurate.

I have an O2 sensor in a far better location that has been calibrated and has a much higher sampling rate that's tied into the ECU. Looking back over the datalog, I'm seeing mid 10's at torque peak and low-to-mid 11's in the upper rpms.

I could still probably pick up a couple horsepower by going a little leaner - but I like the safety!!

You can run 12/1 safely. At 6200 rpm I'm at 12.3/1 and no issues.

Metal - do you have a 3.2 Carrera manifold on yours?

I've seen similar tuning on other high horsepower 930/964's (even with the sub-optimal turbo intake manifold), I'm just gun shy after my experiences with turbo rotary engines!

Out of curiousity, what do you have your timing advance set to at 5000rpms and 14.7psi of boost?

What's EZ 69?
Sounds like something out of the Kama Sutra!

Ok, mind out of the gutter, please
It's the timing module on the l/h side of the engine compartment. I should have said Bosch EZ-69.

I have the ECU back from Australia, back in the car and reloaded the original map. I am dropping her off at TopSpeed today as a matter of fact. I am going to have them rewrite a closed loop program on the car as well as dial in the A/F ratio's. It will be great to have it all back in perfect shape.

Hi,

i've got 425rwhp with stock CIS, GT3582, 964 cams, 1bar boost. What is wrong in your EFI conversion ??

With my EFI conversion, and same parts, i've got 495rwhp, 1bar boost, so you must have more power with EFI...

But you say Turbo S cams.... so the same as SC cams !? Less power than 964 cams

Salut!

http://www.hiboox.fr/go/images/auto-...d1920.jpg.html

Mon torque curve est la plus horizontal.

Le gens qui construit mon auto est la meme qui acheter votre EFI conversion (Turbokraft). Le proprietaire me dites que mon auto faire 520 rwhp avec justement un aftermarket intercooler.

Translation - different builds

The car actually makes the same horsepower today as it did when it was professionally tuned by Turbokraft 5 years ago.

no way in hell would I run an aircooled turbo motor at 12.3: 1 a/f.

11.5 would probably be as much as I'm comfortable with.
