Well this is a very disturbing thread....my car broke Saturday morning after a journey from Texas to participate and I did not make it out for the race in FIA championship cars in the afternoon. Very very disappointing. Spun a rod bearing and a valve touched the piston!
I now hate Italian race cars officially! ANd I own 2 of them? Going to test drive a Cobra Mustang at the track in 2 weekends.
Mines the red one out front with Bobby Rahal behind me...until it broke!*&^%%

my wife mentioned she spoke to an older gentleman who was talking to her about an 02 996 (as she was standing in front of my 02 996) and mentioned his son was racing in an alfa replica... sounds like a small world story?
