I am so glad you have a great car and it is obviously being well cared for and enjoyed but it saddens me to see so many leave the US it is at the point I think we have far less than 200 here now.

My car is L741 which is 993 Black its very very rare on this model, basically its a non metallic black with a clearcoat from what I know.
My car is the U.S spec car with 8782 license plate number.
The other car has the standard black and its a ROW model
I love this car and its my dream car, all it needs right now is a Sunroof Seal and to fix a Stone chip on the Windscreen. I have invested a lot of my time, money and effort in to getting this car to as close as perfect as I can.

Option Codes
Totally agree with others that Cobalts efforts to document our cars is exceptional and he is definitely "the man" when it comes to 3.6 turbos. Below are my option codes and the VIN ends with 0088.

I know of 3 965 3.6 that are here in Puerto Rico including mine. Technically, we are a US territory under and operate similar to a state but we are not in the mainland, so if you are counting how many in the mainland, minus 3 more.

Lets keep this thread updated
3 U.S spec 3.6 owned by relatives and friends over here exactly identical in options and appearance.
Black Beige, Polished wheels black callipers and black exhaust tips.
The one from top of my head is no 384 (currently at 22,000 miles)
The other one is owned by my friend member hemikuwait Midnight Blue/Light grey non polished wheels 62,000 miles.
There are more U.S spec cars here.
Tally quick list:
5 U.S spec Turbo 3.6 in Black
2 Flachbau Turbo S (Red & Black)
1 Wimbeldon Green/ Classic Grey (TurboKraftt)
1 midnight blue/Grey "hemikuwait"

Wow. Forgot about this thread.
I have found out some interesting things about these cars since. The glove boxes are all 993 part numbers and are different than those used on the 91-92 turbo or 964's all 718 coded 94 turbos appear to have the older style cad plated door latches all the 3.6T's without 718 code have the 993 style black painted door latches.
We all have a very rare and NLA EZ69 part number 96560270602 vs 96560270601 version used on the 91-92 turbos. These are prone to failure. Porsche sells re manufactured ones but are very pricey. There is no place to have these rebuilt in the US.
Seems at the rate we are going there will be more US spec 3.6T's in other countries than the US soon.
