There is a 1204 size front caliper which then gave way to the 1842.

The 1842 pad used on the Big reds was first used on the 928 GTS in black in trailing configuration with 322x32mm solid ventilated rotors. The 94 turbo was the first car to use it in red aka "big reds" in leading configuration but used the same 322x32mm rotor with cast holes. This rotor is slightly different than the one used on the 91/92 turbo. The 94 turbo rotor can be used on the 91/92 cars but not the other way around.
The 993TT used the same 1842 pad and caliper but used a different 322x32mm rotor. This newer rotor is a 2 piece design and has a 5mm shorter hat than the 94 turbo GTS version. The caliper is the same but the change in suspension components for the 993TT requires the different offset rotor.
