Default For Sale: Speedline wheels

I tried posting on the original thread yesterday, but for some reason it didn't work so I'm starting a new thread.

A little back story to those who weren't following the original thread: I searched for original Speedlines for a while and finally found these a few weeks ago, purchased them locally just over a week ago, and lost my job this past Friday. I will be posting a few other miscellaneous 965 parts for sale in the coming days, cleaning out the garage to free up a little cash.

About the wheels - I purchased them from the original owner of a '94 965, black centers were an option from the factory and that is how they were ordered. The wheels are completely original and have been stored in a climate-controlled garage for years, clearly they are in excellent shape. The "Speedline for Porsche" etching is in fantastic shape on each wheel, and the fronts also have a small "52 8" while the rears have "61 10" etched around the valve stems. They are mounted with Yokohama tires with almost full tread remaining, but they are quite old so should probably be replaced. I placed no value on the tires, and paid what I thought was a reasonable price for the wheels alone at $4200. I did not pay shipping as I picked them up locally.

There are some imperfections which I will take pictures of and post to this thread asap... One of the "Speedline for Porsche" etchings has a small patch of sticker residue over the last letter or two - I've seen that it is easily removable on other Rennlist threads, but haven't got the stomach to attempt it myself just yet. There are also some minor dings on the edges of the wheel rims, but they are not significant imho. I will take detailed pictures of each and post them here. Also, if you want full resolution pictures I can send them to you via email, just PM me with your email address. Since getting the wheels home, all I have done is to take a damp rag to wipe down the fronts of the wheels. I haven't tried to wash or clean them with any cleaners for fear of doing something wrong. I'm sure a lot of the (extremely minor) marks around the valve stems and bolts would clean up nicely if one were to spend a little time on them.

Let me know your thoughts/questions. I would like to get close to what I paid for these wheels, but that depends on the demand. I am open to reasonable offers, as well as comments/suggestions! If they don't sell here, I'll probably post them on fleabay for the low price of $8995 for quick sale

Good luck with your sale. I do remember the thread. I didn't 't really like the black portion of it.

Have these been sold? If they have not I am interested. If they have I would be interested in purchasing the Yokohamas that are mounted on them.

Maybe I could purchase the Yokohamas before the wheels are shipped (to Taiwan?) which would save a lot of the shipping costs for the wheels!
