Keep us posted on how it turns out. Either way, you have what sounds like a fantastic car there, so don't let it bother you too much! Enjoy, and post some pics when you get a chance!

RPM has a good reputation, if he wants to keep it, he needs to take care of your ENTIRE BILL.
His rep is pristine cars without stories, this is not what we expect when we belly up and pay a lot more than other dealers are asking.
RPM, are you listening?

Again thank you lumpy, pcar 964, chris, boeing 707 and all the rest. I paid 54.500 with the idea I would be better off buying from someone like RPM than victory. I think ray josephs reputation is worth 2400 . I hope for his sake it is. Chris hello I know you from the 996 board when we each had a c4s.

I just got off the phone with ray joseph of RPM cars in houston and he is sending me a check to fully cover the repairs to the tubo. He felt that he wanted me to have a great experience buying from Rpm. And I can know say I have. Thank you all for your support. By the way he has a garage full of great p cars.

And that is the reason we spend the $ we spend when we buy from RPM.
Happy to hear that things worked out to your satisfaction. Enjoy your new baby!

Good show. I've been to his shop personally a few times. Can't imagine he would ever misrepresent a car intentionally.

These are not only used cars...these are getting old too. You take a risk when you buy such a car and it is on you to check it out. There is no way a seller can know what is going to happen in a week or a year. I think he really went out of his way covering the whole thing.

+1 on RPM. I knew Ray would make it right. Bought my 94 3.6 from him and would buy again.
