Default Wheel Offset Question - HELP!

I have a set of 18" Turbo Twist wheels on my 964T. What other Porsche models will these wheels fit? Was the offset the same as earlier 930s, or is it the same as Widebody 993s? Help is appreciated! I want to sell these to replace them with 3.6T replicas.

Thanks in advance!

You probably have the narrow body version of the 993 twist. Rear has a 65 offset.

Will not fit 930. Will fit 965, 964 and 993 narrow body. Others with spacers.

Thanks Ag! Didn't realize it was the same offset as the NB cars.

You can fit wide body Et 41 rear turbo twists but it is pushing the limits and can only use a 265 tire before rubbing.

Here is a pic of my car with them. The better fit would be the narrow body Et65 version. More than likely you have the Et 65 check the inside of the wheel for offset.

Thanks Cobalt, I didn't realize the 964T could fit narrow body OR wide body offsets. Does anybody know what the optimal offset is for 18x11 and 18x8.5s on our cars? I'm thinking of ordering some 3.6T replicas in those sizes.

(Is 18x11 too wide to fit comfortably?)

I don't think you can get an 11 without changing out the suspension. I am going down that path trying to aquire the proper hardware. 8.5 in the front should be fine. I am taking the 8" speedline and moving .5 inch more to the outside. Haven't calculated the new offset but you should be able to figure that out with some searching. I think there was a report of a 10.5 on the stock rear suspension but 10" is about it without a super precise wheel/tire/offset combo.

Problem is an 18 x 11 won't fit. The inside trailing arm is too darn big and although the space is there the rim will rub against the trailing arm.

A few have posted that they were able to get a custom offset 11" wheel to fit but I don't think you can run a wide tire and I have yet to actually see it done. So it is a risk to try. There have been a number of people wo say they fit a 10.5" wheel and I know of one 3.6T that had custom made speedlines using a .5" wider inside barrel.

If you want wide rubber you need to go to n/a trailing arms. Dr. Jupemans old 3.6T has been converted to these and it is now running an 11" wheel with 315's. It looks great and is supposedly incredible handling car it is also now a Twin turbo that east GT3's for lunch but the $$ spent could probably buy you a dedicated track car.

You can go with 9's up front if you want. Here is a link that might help.

Using 10.5 techarts rear and 11 kinesis rear both with 285 with no rubbing. I don't think I can go with a wider tire do the trailing arm.

Do you know the offsets of the Kenesis. I can only assume it needs to be precise to work.

RH list their Speedline replica (the P Rad) in 11" (ET52) and it is TUV approved for fitment on the 965: See here:

I find that fitment hard to believe. The oe 10" +61 doesn't have alot of room to spare on the outside with a 285 tire.

Might fit if you want to leave it stock height and have the tire/wheel outside the fender.

Not sure on the kenesis I want to say 55 or 60. The 10.5 are 60 and have more room around the fender then the 11's.
