Thumbs up New Bilstein PSS10's in my 964 Turbo

WOW,

Cannot believe the ride improvement in these PSS10's over what i had....stock shocks! (mine has 20K original miles) but they were most certainly SHOT.
These Bilsteins are just fantastic, and it was no problem getting RS (or lower) height.
Kudos to Johnson Alignment in Torrance,CA for the fine work, they toiled all day with weight sacks getting it right, and I received a detailed 2 page print out of all specs, which is greatly appreciated.

Highly recommended, can't wait to get them on the track.

I was wondering (probably a stupid question) what suspension was used original from the factory?

I agree, the pss10's are great. What settings did you do front/rear, and how close did they get the corner balancing?

I believe they used Boge shock absorbers.

You are in LA but I am in New York City. Based on the ride quality would you recommend them for east coast streets? I will drive aggressively in the streets and plan on autocrossing and would consider tracking the car. I was told to save the money and get the standard Bilsteins. Thoughts?

I believe 4 in front and 5 in the rear, for comfy street riding.
It makes the car feel like it's connected to your brain with steel cables instead of rubber bands.

We have something in common...bad streets, uneven level changes between bridges and streets, potholes etc.
LA doesn't fix these it seems.
I thought my car was bottoming out (pre-Bilstein) but it seems the shocks were just collapsing! Not any more.
I would HIGHLY recommend the PSS10's for everyday driving, I know it's a lot of money, but I have a new car, or at least it feels completely new to me.

Is it easy to adjust the ***** for the rebound ? Do you have any pics of the shocks after installation ?

The adjustment ***** are right at the bottom, reach under and click to desired feel.
