Default Turbo Jonny is this your car.

I saw a thread on the 928 forum regarding the Sultan of Brunei's cars and this link came up.

Anything look familiar?

Hi Anthony, yes thats a picture taken outside my house. It must have been lifted from one of my posts !
Would have been nice if an original pic from Brunei.

For those that hven't seen it theres a huge thread on ferrari chat with a lot of actual info relating to the Sultans collection etc. Some of the posters are the actual service people etc. One of them even uploaded the complete list of cars owned by him and there vin# etc. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthr...zealand&page=5

Very cool, 30 pages but well worth the read. Our 965 was ex Sultan and sure enough the vin number was in there

The list of Porsches in his collection includes a fair number of 3.6 turbos
most of which must be RHD and some that are not on the list i have.I guess quite a few
have been sold off over the years.

Yes its a very interesting read and well worth the time spent to read it. Great photos of the unique cars too even if some are a bit blurry.

Unfortunately my car was not a 3.6T but a special order 3.3T. Vin sticker below

Don't think any RHD 959s were made. When I was back in NZ my mechanic said another expat had just brought one to NZ. It was definitely LHD. I think that makes 2 in NZ.

The RX should be RS its just a typo. I have a list of 12 959s in the collection ; will check to see if any
RHD.
