Hello all,

I'm thinking about having a look at this car - anyone know how I can contact the previous owner (as I can't PM him on here).

Cheers,

T.

Hi Talat,
yes you can ask any questions on here or better still send me a private message via here and I can reply.
PS: If you are genuine, go and see it and better still drive it ;-)

Mark, I don't think he is able to PM yet as he is a new user.

How's life without a 911?

Mark,

I'm also interested in your old car!

Can you let us know how much track-work it's done? What "niggles" needed sorting when you sold her to Eporsche?

I was looking at this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/663643.htm but apparently it needs £5k of work doing and I don't think the 3.6 is worth that much of a premium!

Hi Nick
Despite my avitar, I did not do a lot of track work. Maybe 5 events in total. What it showed is that the car was in fine form reaching its maximum top speed of 170mph, proving the engine had lost none of its original abilities!

Trackwork is not a problem. In fact if the car is maintained/renewed, then it's a benefit. Because I drove the car fast, I always kept it in A1 condition. I even replaced the wishbone bushes with poly ones in january, to maximise the handling and safety.

Niggles? Absolutely none. did you see how much I spent on it?!

The only reason I sold the car, is due to the recession, I cannot afford to run a supercar as a daily driver, and its no good to me as a garage queen!

Totally agree; track work isn't an issue as long as it's been maintained. I just saw the Eporsche advert with the quoted amount you spent - ouch! Where was it serviced / maintained - JZ?

Hello all,

Thanks to the guys who mailed me. I'm hoping to take a look at this car next weekend and so I'll update this thread with any questions - assuming nickd01 hasn't bought it by then .

I also noticed another one last night with an engine issue (another Rennlister I think) and so I may have a look at that also.

Cheers,

T.
