The shipping to UK is one thing , but import duties could be more! It seems to depend partly on the carrier and also luck.I seem to remember that Fedex always incurs charges. The charge also depends on how Mark will describe and value them. Anyways , im interested too !

Mine are unpainted black and they look fine. Guess its a personal choice if your car is non-black.

After checking out some other options, I think I would give this a try. What is the info on the supplier?

I have not had the time to get into it yet. Given all of the responses the job is bigger than I had imagined - I only expected a few responses. I am also doubtful that they will have the number of sets requested on the shelf in Europe. But I will find out as soon as I can devote some time to it.

If you can't wait for my process then you are welcome to try to contact them yourself. But getting PMS' attention unless you are referred by the factory or (particularly this time of the year) are a Porsche racing team, is nearly impossible. And in general nothing happens fast with them even in the off season.

There is no where else that you can buy these parts. Only from PMS.

PMS can be found at:

http://www.porsche.com/usa/eventsand...rt/racingcars/

Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to give you the contact info for person who is my contact there. Nothing personal but they would be very pissed!

I will keep you on the list but if you are successful let the board know and maybe I can save myself a lot of trouble by having everyone go direct!

Well, I just talked to Roger Grago at Porsche na. he is in the parts dept. btw a really nice person, anyway he said he tried to order some of these splitters last week and there are none in stock. Long story short looks like if you want front spliters you need to find your best aftermarket set . Question who makes the best set ? I might go with the cheep set from Rennspeed.
Andy
p.s. Mark thanks for all your help

Is Roger with PMS? PMS is pretty much separate from PCNA. But in any event glad you got through and that is good info to have going into this. Not a surprise that there would be none in stock. Not a high demand item and Porsche has cut way back on inventory levels on all older parts, even standard parts. I will still check it out when I order my wheel parts through PMS and report back to the board.

Mark,

Why do you say these did not come on the 3.8RS? Every picture and actual 3.8RS I have seen has them. I also have the factory press release info on the 3.8RS and 3.8RSR and it states that they both came with front and rear spoilers. Although the paperwork also states that both cars would not be imported to the US and we know that is not the case.

If it is in the price range you say and you can still get sets, I would be in for a spare set. I will be away next week though.

Also what kind of speedline parts can you get? I have someone who is looking to make custom offset speedlines for a 993TT and he would be very interested in buying the components separately. If it is not a hassle he would probably appreciate the contact info.
