Aren't the heads on 959's water cooled?
To me the 959 is almost mythical. In the famous R&T "Yellow Bird" test of 1987, a 959 Sport hit 60 in 3.6 seconds, 100 in 8.2 and maxed out at 198mph!!! Still impressive today...

I hear the ABS system on a 959 costs $18k to replace amongst other very $$ parts.
Nice cars advanced for their time but at the costs involved a simple slightly moded 965 will do just as well around the the track without having to sell the equivalent of a 965 to repair.
