LOL You had me going there for a minute. The Concours events would create quite a stir. I would have to put the polished speedlines on and we could have bookends with the white beast in the center.

Slightly OT, but I came across this great pic of a beautiful blue 965 (cobalt blue?)

There is a lot to be said about 380 pound feet of torque coming from a big V8 and starting at 1200 rpm to redline.
Whoops! Sorry about that. I forgot you had a 928. I just like to give those guys a hard time.

Yes I posted pics of this car before. It is one of 3 I know of. This car has root wood shifter and has 2 tone gray with black accent interior. Here are some interior shots of this same car.

Just giving you ****. Not a problem the 928 911 rivalry has been going on since I owned my first Porsche back in the late 70's. The real problem child of Porsche was the 924. The Audi 100 engine was a PITA with more problems than anyone would care to deal with.

Add the rootwood you can say it is 4 tone. Still a nice car but a bit busy for my tastes. I will say the topspeed pic actually captures the cobalt color pretty well although it constantly changes depending on lighting.

Perhaps that makes me the biggest idiot on Rennlist. I am okay with that.
Mike has a bone to pick because some moron car dealer on this site tried to low ball on the price of his car. 60K And you know who you are. True value of a car is one thing. Low balling the s--- out of it because you think everyone else f------g stupid is another.

Actually that person that Mel is talking about iniltialy told me 65-68K. The thing that makes this stupid is that person is a collector and buys/sells cars like these and darn well knows that is a rediculous price. It was almost insulting. Here is the logic, I bought the car in the 70Ks back in Feb. not even a year down the road and not 2K miles on it since buying it, it's worth about 10K less than what I paid, come'on.

$60K and I am in as well! Geez Mike - I am now on board with you. I really have a hard time with dealers... Business Ethics? What ethics? Oh that's right - business is business...

Oh that's right - business is business...
Ahhh so true. It's funny seeing them (dealers) tuning around and trying to make logic of selling the car for what's it's worth. All of a sudden in their hands the car has become a collector piece that has appreciated in value and we should know that.....now it's in their hands....all of a sudden the "business is business" has a new face. Guess that's the issue. But true business is business....but only for the stupid....which dealers think is everybody but them.
