Thinking about selling

GT3 RSs come in over 3200lbs wet, so weight is quite comparable.
Tq. . . around 280 ft lbs.
So 100 ft lbs more tq (i.e., sledgehammer), close in rwhp, and slightly lighter, the 3.6 should be quicker if you can get traction (note that the 3/rs come with pretty sticky tires from the factory).
I think the big difference b/t these two very fast cars, is the *way* power is delivered. I don't think they could be any differnt.
Anthony, what power mods do you have? Mine will be sent off to finishing school soon. . . I'll likely get aggressive.

Simple bolt on mods. Your car should have more work done to it and should be already quite fast.
I have the B&B headers, HFK27, 1 bar spring, Billet BOV, K&N drilled air box and a CIS system without leaking vacuum lines. i have seen some cars with more mods produce less and others with less produce more. The condition of the CIS has a lot to do with performance.
I recommend the HF K27 as it helps with the power. less on/off effect and you can feather the throttle unlike most early single turbo cars.
None of this is worth anything without suspension mods.
atan, you devil don't you have enough really nice cars to keep you happy.

The torque is what makes these cars crazy fun. I agree totally different ends of the spectrum. I would love an RS for track and the turbo for street.

Though I'll likely pitch the CIS for EFI and the K27 for a garrett ball bearing unit, and have an extrude honed carrera intake done. Should be a rocketship when done.

I think that's the same setup as my car. . . K27 high flow, headers, exhaust, 1 bar, and freshly cleaned up motor so there's no vacuum or oil leaks.

I am happy with mine. Would be nice to have 400 to the ground but after a while it becomes too much to handle. I don't need the fastest car just fun. My car keeps up with vipers and such so it suits me fine.
All I can say Mike is DON'T DO IT. Although if Atan888 gets it, it will be well cared for.

Anthony brings up a good point; when you have a lot of HP it makes the car difficult to handle. My car is an absolute handful on the track with the boost because I don't point and shoot. I also keep the boost under one bar to make sure I have enough fuel.
I would like to see how Y65MPH's car would do against Bogey1's in a 0-150 race.

I agree on the mods. My car is very similar to Anthony's (Cobalt) except obvisouly I have a 3.3L, K27, headers with heat (B&B), SC cams, twin plugged and freshly pulled motor with no leaks anywhere. It had 1.1 bar worth of springs in it, and was a monster, so for my safety and longevity, I am down to .8 bar and it still screams. I think I'll get it on a dyno at some point and time, but it has plenty of power for me.
I also have Pss-9's so the suspension was done as well as the motor.

It is impeccably clean. I notice you have the stone guards that only come up part way. i have seen the short stone guards and the longer ones like I have on my car that come up about 4" higher. Anyone know why Porsche was inconsistent with these?

Don. This is a daily driver for you though. This car is your average car to you. You don't want this car..... Right? You are not in the mix....
