Here's my Zermat next to a 3.8 RSR.

I have an AT Speed sticker; they are the shop who takes care of me at the track.

However, I am still waiting on my IA sticker for the back window

The rear wheels are deep because, like all 964 race cars, they were built from the RS chassis and use the narrow body trailing arms, not the turbo trailing arms even though it is widebody. When I built mine, I used front wheel centers from a 993RSR/GT2, designed to clear 380mm brakes, which have a thicker hub and therefore move the wheel center out more. This eliminated the "camero with drag slick look" which I didn't like.

"I thought the 993 wasn't competitive back then; where as the 964 was?"

The 964 RSR 3.8 was Porsche's return to GT racing with the 911 platform and it enjoyed much success in the FIA GT series in 93/94 before going to the 993 platform. For instance, it won the 24 hours of Spa in 93 and the championship in 94.
