The 94 turbo S wing has the largest surface area of any wing used by Porsche. the RS wing is smaller although it has the adjustable bi-wing configuration. I think the stock wing is classic but the turbo S and RS wings are by far the best looking. I hate the looks of the 993TT wing yet the 993TS wing is very nice.
Apparently Porsche designed the 94 turbo S wing to create additional down force for the added Hp of the turbo S. I think for a street car it is the best looking wing. The RS 3.8 wing is impressive and looks great but I don't like the rear view obstruction. It is hard enough to see out the back of the car with the awful third brake lights never mind the additional wing in your way.

Nathan, did you have any issues fitting? I think it looks fantastic, top mod![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)

I didn't do the mods, I bought the car like that. It appears to fit fine but I have no idea how much work went into getting it to fit like it does. I am amazed at how heavy it still is though

As Anthony pointed out it does make reversing difficult but I have had 2 vans with no rear windows so it doesn't bother me too much.

No real logic to it, just a personal thing ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The benefit of the GT2 type wing is the scoops which could be used to force air over the IC to keep it cooler. I think even the great Dr. would have said go with what works best, not what looks best though.

Although all three wings look great. The Turbo S has the cleanest lines and by eliminating the rubber lip it modernizes the car. Although the lip looks good it somewhat dates our cars more than anything else.
I keep toying with the idea of going with the turbo S wing. I like the RS wings also but with the number of County Sherriff's cruising the roads in the 7.1liter Dodge Chargers I need to be able to see who is following me.

If I do it, I'm going to get the S wing, a splitter and have them painted/installed at the same time.

Did you also replace the plastic mesh behind the splitter with a metal mesh of some kind?
