Default Biggest Gathering of UK 965's ever!

Today, a few of us got together at the Polish War Memorial in Northolt and drove in convoy to the legendary Ace Cafe http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/f1spo.htm

There were 5 of us:
Me (black 3.3)
Phil (midnight blue 3.3)
Richard (midnight blue 3.3)
Graeme (black 3.6)
Vince (white 3.3)

(and Caveman joined us in his silver 993)

We hope to better this record next time as our usual attendees asimler & zermatt were away on holiday

PS: And we sounded as good as we looked: in addition to me running the 'triple bypass', Phil has at last joined 'the club' with the full setup, and now Richard has it on order!! So has Tim, and I know Anthony is tempted..... its only a matter of time before you other guys join us!

Many apologies for my absence today but fingers crossed for a big 965 turnout on the 29th.

And yes, the cat bypass has just arrived in the post and is going on this week . My car pops and bangs so much at the moment that it's hard to believe that it's going to be even better - and louder .

Also getting it lowered, maybe next week too but my man wants to see it first to help advise on what springs/shocks to go for. I want the RS look if possible. Remember the mantra - "you can't be too low or too loud"

Sorry I couldn't make it - damned holidays!

Sounds like a great turnout - let's see if we can't better it next time!

Cheers,

Tim.

Tim (zermatt) you were missed bro!
911 2 - drop me a pm with your email and I'll include you in our emails.
Clint: sorry, in my excitement didn't take any photos! If any come to light from anyone else, will try to post links.
kp- ride height & noise- you'll love it! (PS: For road use, most of us seem to settle on 30mm drop)

Cheers Drew - it only came yesterday cos it was held in customs whilst they decided how much to fleece me.

Addict - the car's gone today and it may be dropped 30mm or so but he's doing a number of other jobs so the suspension is near the bottom of the list and may be postponed on the say-so of my bank manager. The cat bypass is defo happening tho.

Wouldn't miss the FoS for anything, I'll be there for sure. Would be great to do a 965 convoy. I'll probably be down just for Saturday 23rd.

I'll be in for the Saturday too....
Convoy great idea. As usual we can start one in West London (Uxbridge, PWM). From past experience early is best.... I mean really early, like arrive at Goodwood for 8!
PS: As this is a long way off, lets revisit/start a thread nearer the time...
