Default 1991 964 Turbo

I was looking through the Rennlist classifieds and came across add number 6139. I have alway liked the 964 Turbos. What do you guys think?

Is it a fair price?

This one looks like a much better deal than the red one. Not mine, etc, etc.

Christian's car is not an ordinary 965,infact it just had an EFI conversion along with some other goodies i wish i was in the market for one as this is just exactly what i want...any way make sure you give it a good/solid consideration before going any where else...

I like all of the cars listed including 6139. I would be hesitant to call one a better deal than another because they are quite different.

EFI is a great upgrade, but maybe not for everyone. I think you choice depends on the number and type of modifications that interest you. It also depends on what you want to do with the car - street, track, or some combination.

The only downside is the price of getting it done correctly. EFI will allow you to tune the car and mod it to it's potential

Yasar:

First - I am not referencing anyone's vehicle or skills...

Assuming the EFI is done correctly and the vehicle properly tuned (this is worth researching), there is no real downside to EFI. However, having 450 - 500hp at the rear wheels in the hands of an inexperienced driver or a vehicle without equal upgrades in suspension, transmission and brakes could be...ummm...dangerous.

The other point is that more people than not prefer a stock car, either because they think these cars will appreciate with time or because they prefer to make the choices with upgrades.

The question is what is mfenster looking for?

Thanks, I'm looking for a clean car without a lot of performance mods. I'd rather have a clean car than an overly modified fast car. Can't use the speed the car already has around here.

I made the mistake of driving a 997 GT3 - it is a very impressive car.

If it doesn't sell, doesn't matter. I will keep driving it, maybe do the conversion to EFI. The coral red color coupled with the body shape of the 964T are an irreplaceable combination.

Ahhh the curse of drving or riding in a GT3; those cars take you to a whole other level... I made that same mistake a year or so ago and then quickly modded my car to make up for it.

I would buy a GT3 only if I could sell the Turbo. There are domestic politics involved here
