Default Tuning questions.

Hello,

I´ve resently bougt a 3,3 Turbo -91 with 2600 miles on it, i am the second owner. Its 100% stock.

Now i want a little more power. Can you boys here recommend the steps i should make on my way to getting the power.

When i have been reading on diffrent forums, they say that if put more than 1 bar in boost i can blow the engine...

And if i put a 1bar spring do i have to adjust the fuel pressure?

Please teach me.....

I live in sweden so the car i sleeping in the garage untill may.

I have put on FVD s cat by pass pipe and G- pipe so it sounds good and resently gett it back from the "big" service inckluding valve adjust.

Ok thanks for answers and Exviiise me for bad english, you can try to answer me in swedish

Best Regards
//Patrick

Hej Patrick,

Valkommen. (Okay, that is about where my swedish ends!)

The car looks great.

You have come to the right place to seek advise on getting more power. You have got some time before the car comes out of hibernation, so I might suggest you search this forum. More power is always being discussed here.

BTW, where in Sweden? I will be in Uppsala end of the month.

Hi Patrick and welcome to the board, not that many swedes that hangs on this forum, fun!

A good start is doing a bit of searching and reading about things that you can do and at the same time think about what your overall goals are. I am a track junkie myself, parking my car at Nürburgring this season.

Jay, I live not to far from Arlanda (the airport).
I could give you a ride from Arlanda to Uppsala in my 964 turbo.
If you accept this free offer I will hold up a sign saying Porsch Taxi outside customs, will give you interesting looks from your fellow passangers.

Is that really a 16 year old car with 2600 miles on it?

If it is, then the engine isn't even run in yet!

I would be happy with around 360 - 380 horses.

My recommendation would be for you to drive and enjoy the car for a while before you start with the mods. Then figure out what you really need. Your car looks amazing. Congrats!

Staffan - that sure would be incredible! I generally just take the train to Uppsala. I take it the snow tires are on the car? Perhaps summer time would be better? I am usually there about 6-8 times a year. I usually pack light.

Patrick - are you near Stockholm also? The white interior is going to fun to keep clean.
