sc profile cams in 3.3 turbo???
hi
in the middle of rebuilding my 1992 3.3 turbo with new arp rod bolts and head bolts after couple of original head bolts failed!
mainly street use with the odd track day, going to be running 1 bar boost with headers/exhaust cat bypass and gas flowed heads, have been recommended new SC profile cams for my car at $625..has anybody used or got these cams in their 3.3's and whats your opinion as in performance/b.h.p per $/£ etc,,what difference did they make!..or is there better options?

If you have enough fuel to support them, they will give you a good low end punch and are a great improvement over stock. You might want to consider going with a .8 bar spring to go along with SC cams. When my next major service is due, or if something comes up, then I am going to have them installed.

You need to have your AFR's in the 12-1 range; I don't know if you will have enough fuel or not. Nor do I know if your car being "euro spec" has any variances in the fuel system. If you are doing all of this work it might not be a bad idea to invest in a lm-1 wideband gauge.
