Painted intercooler
Has anyone ever painted their intercooler???? Mine has some scuffs on it and im wondering if its worth it to do so since it is so visible. I always loved the krinkle paint on ferrari valve covers so here are some cool pics of this guys red valve cover that he painted. Let me know if you think it would be cheesy to paint the intercooler like this.

I am going to paint my shroud Silver to match the car; that looks hot!!!
Anyone know why for the 1991 turbos they stopped painting the inside of the fan red to designate the fastest Porsche model for that year?

How about this intercooler.
Looks the works. No conection but thought sharing worthwhile.

Would a larger intercooler like this add much power with no other mods? If so what would you expect from this?
If it was not in Canada would be tempted.

I purchased one of these a while back and was going to install it before I realized I would need to eliminate my shrouding to make it fit. I have been trying to sell it for $1250 shipped within the US but no bites yet. I was told unless you race it or plan on reaching 500 rwhp it won't help much by some and others claim the larger passages used and overall larger size will do a more efficient job cooling the air. Your guess is a s good as mine.
Meanwhile anyone interested in my brand new unit?
