Default New Suspension Now Fitted (Pics attached)

My Gemballa Bilstein setup is now installed. Really pleased, the car now feels well & truely solidly planted at speed, and is comfortable around town....perfection?

Here are the pics of the car as it is now, 30mm dropped from euro 3.3 spec. PS: Also new front splitters fitted.

love the stance, simply perfecto....btw do you happen to know what the road to out fender lip height is ?
For other Susp gurus, can this stance be achieved by H&R and Bilsteins combo ?

Looks great. That rear looks super low. I am surprised you dont hit your heat exchangers (if you are running B&B headers).

He shouldn't have any issues with the B&B's. I am running the same height and have no issues.

Thanks all for all your compliments, I love the way it looks now. Today a little kid stopped and pointed (smiling with excitement!) ...but that may have been my exhaust ;-)

Yasir, the splitter isn't actually any lower than the standard rubber lip, just protrudes a little.
My setup is Bilstein shocks, and also they may be H&R springs, but to Gemballa specs. I am sure that with most adjustable height shocks you can go this low (only 30mm, they can go as much as 50mm!).

Y65, it looks low, but only 30mm off standard. I don't have B&B's, I have the Carrera (spelling?) headers which I don't think are any deeper than standard, but they certainly seem to work well.

I run a little higher than that. I was always afraid of hitting the excahangers. Knowing that, I will drop it down a bit.

Thumbs up

Mark, that looks great - welcome to the club! Look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Y.S - Not that I'm a guru, but I've got the H&R springs with standard dampers which gives the same ride height pretty much - c.30mm lower.

Cheers,

Tim.

Hard to tell but ask Paul he did my suspension and IIRC he said he lowered it 30mm. The pictures are tough to tell by but I think they look about the same height.

Anthony,

Paul concerned with the extra squat do to the power. But he said it may be able to go a little lower. I am already running some pretty stiff springs.
