Default Turbo 3.3 for sale in UK

I've just noticed this on the PCGB forum, 'for sale' section.

Nice looking car.

When I saw his avatar I thought it was Cobalt but Tahoe is a great color also. Not very common. I grew up with the older 911's also but I could not see selling a 964 turbo for any of the earlier 911's. I love the older cars but unless it was a factory 73 RS/RSR or 74 RS/RSR I couldn't imagine doing the same.

The price he is asking is I think unlikely. It is a 3.3 and they do not make this money at the moment. He paid around £33K from a dealer only a few months ago which was very high and that would explain why he is asking so much.

From my recent purchasing experience I think between Mark and myself we've paid 'the going rate' for a 'good' car.... of course what you end up with for that sum is a different thing entirely

For comparison, there's a GP White 3.3 for sale from Paul Stephens - 37k miles, two sets of 18"s, immaculate, full history, etc etc... it has been advertised at £32995 for at least the past 5 months, recently dropped to £30995. I still don't think it will sell for that.

Mid-30's is 3.6 territory (when they turn up!), and higher than that and you start creeping into the bottom of the 993TT market.

I'd say £25000-£30000 pretty much covers the UK, rhd 3.3 Turbo 2 market.

Interesting to see that in the UK the 993TT is still at a premium over the 3.6 Turbo. In the US, they seem to be very close together price-wise (obviously with many more 993TTs available) and nice color combos on 3.6s commanding a premium over 993TTs.

I really miss my car. Haven't seen it in over 3 months. It's so tempting to to look at these "local" cars and maybe get one...

What, the RS4 isn't fast enough? Hope the new digs are working out. Hopefully we can get the cars together next summer down in LBI, Wasn't a very good year for driving anyway. So far, all the good driving days have been during the work week, your not missing much here this year.

That car now sold, as posted on the PCGB forum.
Wonder how much it went for, and whether the new owner will appear on the forums.
...and I wonder what work it needed doing?

I am sure there is always the exception but members of PCGB tend to look after their cars very well.
