In a rare occurance, looks like there are at least 10 964 Turbos for sale right now. Autotrader.com has a Corel Red, Midnight Blue, White, Black, and Guards!

This seems to be a lot of cars at once - Much more than I have seen in a long time.

Mega,
As you know there are a few, but not necessarily good ones ;-)

There's one on eBay for $29.5k Buy-it-Now. Maybe it has real problems, but it seems like the seller is being overly self-critical over a few easily repairable cosmetic issues.

I actually found the market to be rather dry for the past 8 months or so. A few top notch cars for sale and a couple of clunkers with not much in between. When I was looking for my car back in 02, 03 there were at least this number of cars available at any one time and it stayed constant up until about a year or so ago when the market seemed to dry up.

The ones in UK seem quite cheap low 20's. But hearing from potential buyers on the forums they are not great examples. I wonder how much a nice one would go for in the current market? Not talking silly collector's piece just a well maintained tidy one.

I own the Coral Red one that's up for sale on Autotrader and Ebay. I would say it is one of the better ones on the market right now. There does seem to be a lot on the market right now though. When I was looking back in '04 there were only a couple and the good ones where few and far between.

Can't seem to get through to the e & m site on this connection (think my adsl router is about dead!)... it doesn't happen to be one that's done 79k miles, £25k on a 1991 reg, does it?

Rebooted the router... now I see which one it is!

I called about that one earlier in the week - I got a bad vibe from the guy who answered the phone; didn't seem particulary knowledgeable ("do these cars have an alternator? - i think it's been replaced", i asked if it had any engine work done "it had the engine out last year and im sure it had all the bolts and pulleys and things replaced; cost 4 grand" .. but he wasnt sure if the clutch was changed at the time...) and it has signs of neglect - all the wheels are curbed, the geat gaitor is torn and the seats are heavily worn.

I'll not jinx the other one I've found by going into any more detail until I can get to see it (hopefully tomorrow... it's very close!).

I see what you are saying about condition. Although one added plus is it appears to have factory speedline wheels. These are quite pricey if you can find a good set.

This 92 with 30k miles went for $42 or $43 3 months ago in NY. The carfax was clean and another member saw it upclose and agreed it was in prime shape except for small oil drip that was hardly noticeable. I was ready to drop a security deposit but it went before I got to it.

That would be only £22k to those of us on this side of the pond :-(
