Frankly, the owner did not respond to my e-mails after sending me the initial pictures so I moved on to purchase a much more expensive '94 3.6 T. In hinsight, this car would have been a much better deal.

The bidding is being stirred by"6speedonline" in NYC...if memory serves me correct also known as "Darren" ....to close for comfort for this country boy.....I 've looked at two very nice 3.3s with very low miles offered for $45,000.....asking price was a bit higher, i.e. $10,000

There was a BLK/BLK 3.6 with under 20,000 miles that just sold for less than $65,000 to a private collector and the high end dealer offer to the seller was $55,000.......

All I can say is hope things keep heading upward as they appear to have been over the past few years.

44k is starting to get up there but if it was in really nice shape I doubt you will find many others out there in very nice shape selling for less than $55k. Most of the 3.6's I have seen sell for less than $55k over the past 3 years usually had over 60k miles or had some hidden issues or problems, missing original wheels ($$$) and were usually good to fair condition. The cars in excellent condition or Conocurs condition bring good $$$. Less than 20k mile cars start commanding a higher premium because of the low mileage

I have passed on $70k for my car and I have 36k miles. Low miles attribute to most of the higher priced cars but rare color and condition also have a lot to do with price. Once you find a car you like you will find it is not worth selling unless you get a serious premium because there are so few out there to replace them with. I have no interest in other models. I like the TT's but would not trade my 94 for one so what else is there, Italian.

It is safe to say you never delt with Ray Josephs. You don't buy from RPM if you are looking for a deal. Only if you are looking for a perfect example, and willing to pay for it accordingly.

Default Ray

I have known him for years.....he often pays top dollar and works off a slim spread, but then if gets a bargain purchase he has room to work.....he is great businessman

The '94 3.6 with 17k miles I referenced fetched close to $65,000 in a private sale and Ray had offered $55,000 according to the seller......I suspect if he had gotten it Ray's asking price would have been well north of $70,000

You owners should love him......he really pulls prices up for you
