I dont have the original pipe and that pipe in the picture is broken off right at the 36mm (or so big) nut that bolts on to the crankcase - the other end which is in the picture just connects to the braided line to the oil tank.
Thanks for the help

This is the oil line that I made out of factory parts.
Order a new '74 oil line and then cut off your old line and tig them together.. Fits like a glove!!

The elbow is threaded on to the oil line and then into the crankcase. I have photos that are too big for Rennlist (cheap *** Rennlist - you pay for membership and then are limited in the size of photos you can upload - OTOH at Pelican you can upload anything you want as much as you want and it is free! ). See this link to a thread I started at Pelican SO THAT I COULD UPOLOAD THE DAMN PHOTOS! The photos show this in detail.

The B&B system graphic shows an elbow at the end of the oil line but I think this graphic is of a 930 system. The elbow is definately a seperate part from the oil line on my car (again see the photo). This means you should be able to order it directly from B&B as a replacement part.

What are you talking about.. You are going to wipe out the center drain section of your engine case (lowest part of the engine) vs snagging the oil line.. When using the '74 style line it actually tucks up against the bell-housing which is higher than the bottom of the engine case..

I just think that others should consider all possibilities before implementing your solution.

What do you think is a fair price for this hose ? There isn't a price as it cannot be bought

Seems the factory parts to do this cost £125.00 + delivery and that is not from a OPC where it would be higher still, thats nearly $200 USD.
Make me an offer Miles.
