Default Secondary air injection

I know this topic has been discussed and I have looked at the old threads. I have a new twist on this I need input on.
My air pump has been disconected for some time but I noticed yesterday while under the car that the air tube that has six lines one to each cylinder that runs under the engine(see Adrians book page 161) had cracked all the way through such that when i touched it it came in two. the piece that has come off is the check valve and pipe that runs to the "T". (item 3 & 4 in the diagram) With the car running exhaust blows out of the tube and there is an audiable note from an exhaust leak. The car seems to run fine but I am concerned of causing long term issues. My question.....is this a problem, will the leak cause any issues; do they sell plugs to blank off where the tubes go into the head; does it need to be replaced?
Thanks

Yes. I have a spare and can take a photo of it a little later.

I bought some plugs to screw in the heads from Stephen of Imagine Auto and have completely removed the air pump assy.

Thanks for the input. How much of a pain is it putting the plugs in?
Thanks for the offer of pictures Colin.

The air injectors came out very easy. I was worried they may snap off, but they didn't.
I had removed my headers when I took out the injectors, this may have made it easier.

I haven't actually fitted the plugs yet...

I'm sure it is simple.

Until you get the proper plugs, you can use 6 old lug nuts to cap off the injectors. I wouldn't recommend it for long term but it will work until you get around to installing the plugs.

If you want a quick solution squeeze the ends together and weld them up. its very theraputic ripping that crappy air pump out and all its heavy bits

I gave this a shot a few months ago, tried to loosen one of the header allen bolts it snapped right off.
Going to borrow welding equipment when I deal with this during this winter, guess I will be popping a few more of those allen bolts and plan to weld a nut on the broken bolts to get them loose.

Thought it was time to deal with all rusted bolts before it gets "impossible" to deal with them.
Had a ride in my car yesterday after 2 weeks of vacation, got scared when it took off, I love my car!

Staffan, they will not snap off if you use a nut splitter to split the nuts, I too snapped a few off...

The splitter does not damage the stud.

Great feedback!
okey, I have one of those things.
didn't think about using one, so you can reach all the allen bolts with this one ?
