Can anyone provide any details on how difficult it is to replace the air pump belt, and is it possible to perform this repair while the motor is still installed. Oh, I almost forgot are there any special tools required.
Thanks for the feedback.

Remove intercooler, remove air inlet pipe from airbox to turbo.. Have fun.. Tools, scuffed knuckles. The truth is, it is easier to do a partial engine drop. I know that it sound tough, but if you put the car on jack stands and place a jack under the engine (use plywood or a hockey puck between the jack and case) Unbolt the rear mounts and let the engine down a few inches.. This will give you more room to change the belt..
Make sure that you put a rag into the inlet pipe for the turbo.

I was going to rip the whole thing out but i guess you need it for emissions...
I think you will have to remove the plate on the cam and the oil lines from the scav pump in order to see the pulley.
Make sure the belt isnt too tight when putting it on.
