You can see that the ANDIAL unit is about 1-1.5 inches deeper than stock. Plus the fins on the ANDIAL unit are totally different. I am having ANDIAL pop rivot the stock shield to the new unit. The core is the only difference with this unit and is the same as they used on the IMSA cars in the early 90's. I like the factory (stock) look. FYI! Price is $2750 with core exchange. (bought mine from a PCA member for $1800)

Thanks,
I was always curious about the differences between the two. They look so similar that without side by side pictures you really can't tell the differences. BTW is this the same IC used on the Flachbau?
$1800 is a bit pricey but a bargain compared to $2750 with core exchange, ouch!!

Andial does not actually make these. We use the same person and believe me they really are 2750 to have made. You will find that in traffic cooling the core is harder, but under long runs at WOT and full boost the core temps are much lower than the stock setup. Everything has a trade off.

I have been very happy with mine, even in South Florida. I keep my car clear of serious traffic because of the clutch, but I had not noticed any probelms at all so far... I wish I had found a deal at $1,800!
