These pictures are great and they also help me out with a previous question. I love the front splitters on L8Apex, Summax and Cobalts cars and wondered if any of you guys had the 965........ codes for them as i want to change my techart splitters to the black items which protrude.

I'll post some pictures of my own car after a run in North Wales on Sunday with the 964 crowd.

I wish I could help you. If I am not mistaken there was a sticker with the part number on the inside of the unit. I don't believe i left it on be cause it was obstructing the louvers.

The factory part is made up of the 2 factory under panels which are modified. They heat seal venting louvers into the plastic and add the 2 front winglets. The normal raised stock part number is molded into the plastic but the sticker with the actual number was just applied in a bad place. I will be under the car in about a month to install the brake ducts. If anything is remaining I will let you know.

To bad, you missed a very nice Carbon Fiber set of winglets on Ebay last week.

Sal,

MA Shaw sells the CF winglets like the ones on my car. If I am not mistaken Mark S. had some for sale.

A few more pictures:

You can get the tips from several places. Cargraphic, Techart, By Design, and possibly FVD. They are like the ones used on the Turbo S. Nice quality simple bolt on replacement to stock configuration. Quite pricy for tips. I did notice a difference in the sound of the car when the waste gate opens. You eliminate the baffling in the stock tip so it does sound a little better.

The front splitters parts are: these are for the 3.6 Turbo S.
965.504.125.02
965.504.126.02

The factory called it "mug/bug" guards, :-). Price about $500us.
