If the car is missing the stickers chances are it was a repaint. The black calipers was an option on the 3.6, Red was standard but black was an option.
The car from badboys was a complete repaint after the shooting of the movie because the paint was destroyed from the rotor wash from a helicopter. The collection did the work.

I think there were 3 or 4 cars that did all the dirty work and this 3.6 is the directors personel car that was ued for few scenes here and there,so are you sure about the repaint ?

Brian may know more but as i had stated I had always heard that 3 cars were used 2 of which were destroyed and I had heard that the 3rd was damaged needing repaint. What that entailed I have no idea.

only one car was purchased for the movie. It was bought from a former employee of mine from the collection.That car was definetly repainted. I was a big fan of the movie and spent some time on set.
They used my brothers old apartment in the movie ( will smiths place) and the lobby with the shootout scene at the end was my old lobby.

Your brother had a nice apartment. I do have one bit of confusion. There are scenes in the movie that show the crested sport seats in the car and others that show sport seats without crests and regular seats without crests. I was always told 3 cars were used which would corroborate the different seat types. Can you shed any light on this? Is it possible they used different seats for different scenes?

i just saw the movie. on the last scene when they reach the hanger the 3.6t has red brake calipers. the car on ebay has black ones. so it looks as if they had more than one car.

U R correct- Black Calipers were an option for the 3.6 turbo.
