Yes, I remember that car too... even had the genuine RUF vin (ie: not a conversion but a real body in white RUF build). I always thought that was an RCT though Sameer. Remember the car being involved in a rather severe altication in Pasir Gudang after which it was rebuilt and exported....

Just some useless trivia ......

There is a silver 964 BTR-2 4 wheel drive here in NZ I believe is ex Singapore. 5 speed EKS. It is in getting ABS sorted at the local shop I use.

Like mine it has RUF vin not a conversion.

Yup, based on my checks of yr 993 at the time I was looking at it, I am pretty sure it wasn't ever crashed....

If the RUF 964 was crashed, it would be picked up when the car entered NZ. They are very strict on any car that has had previous accident repairs. If the owner bought it in himself, he would be aware of any damage as the car would have to have a full electronic chassis measurement. Ruf Dan Ruf, where abouts in NZ are you. Photo looks like Taupo? I currently have a 1991 C2 T coming from HK 1 owner 22K RUF wheels.

Hi Stephen,

Thats Lake Ferry, I'm in Wellington. The owner doesn't know and we should keep it quite like Harold suggests.

We looked at the car yesterday. The mechanic suspected that it had been damaged but it has been well repaired. It looks like only panel damage which wouldn't get picked up coming into the country. Accident damage is not a big deal as long as it is repaired correctly IMHO.
