My grin is here to stay, but I must admit that at 430Hp it doesn't seem as fast as it used to. The car has not gotten slower, but for some reason to much power is never enough

Will do Yasir,
You might have to wait until I am 90 though. By the way did you receive the pictures I sent you? I hadn't heard back and was wondering if you decided to go with the CF dash.

I must not be paying attention. I have same exterior w/ cashmere interior. The car already has SC cams, GHL Headers, B&B exhaust, Tial WG w/ 1 bar, Andial fuel enrichment. It makes close to 390 rwhp with the current K-29 turbo.
I am just about to undertake a major project:
* twin plug the heads
* move to 7200 HF turbo
* Moton double adjustables & springs
* heavier sway bars
* 993TT brakes
* Roll bar
* Recaro SPG (from 964 Cupcar)
* Harnesses

Mine has a light grey interior and the dash is a darker color for a two tone effect. I really like the combo. I am adding the Fabspeed bypass and a 1 bar spring this weekend. Suspension, and headers to follow, I really want to reduce the turbo lag.

Coral Red is a mixture of:
1) light red,
2) opaque red,
3) medium course aluminium (flakes in liquid form)
4) yellow/orange
5) 1002S Red pearl powder
The light of day throws a different color off the paint.

Wow, I love the way yours looks with the speedlines and the lower stance. That really makes me want to do the same. I notice you have TX plates. Are you still in TX? Your sig says WA.

Kerry:
I lived in TX until moving to WA last October. I think the car has H&R springs which sets it stance lower. The wheels are RH Turbo 3.6 - a whole lot cheaper than Speedlines

This was a great thread.
Since I am shopping the 964T market, it's just what I was looking for. Question: besides the mentioned power and suspension upgrades, are there any important non-performance updates that a newly acquired Turbo should be immediately checked for? As example: 3.2 Carreras should have the head temp sensor updated.
Thanks.

Bob:
If you are identifying potential problem areas, I don't know of any. The 3.3L turbo went through many years of production by the time it reached the 964 turbos. New for '91 was the suspension set up, ABS, air bags, power steering, heating/cooling. None of these have emerged as problems.
They do run hot on warm days so an auxiliary oil cooler is a good idea.

Yes, problem areas -- as in predictable weak links in the system. In other words, I hate being stranded over the premature failure of a stupid $50 part.
Auxiliary oil cooler? You mean as in a manual override switch to turn the front oil cooler fan; a replacement temp sensor with lower threshold setting; or an additional cooler altogether? Doing a search, I have not found a lot on the subject specific to the 964 Turbo. The 993 TT, yes, but the 964T, no. If any of you guys have a link to share, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
