What are the difficulties to intall ?
Where to buy good price air inlet (expensive on FDV web site).

After discussions with Steve Weiner (regarded tech who posts on Rennlist) and my local mechanic, I bailed on the idea of installing the air inlets on my car. I assume you're talking about the ones that install ont he front bumper. In the street cars there is just too much stuff in the way to get any real airflow (I assume you're also talking about cooling your brakes). You will squish the tube down to almost no flow. If you want to route air like Porsche did on their race cars, you'll be cutting the inner fenders.

Are you experiencing brake fade?

I installed brake ducts on my car with hoses routing air to the center of the front discs.
After the install I was on a track event and didn't get a "soft pedal" for the first time ever.
You need to have hoses routing the air, otherwise it's no use other than looks.

I would only recommend this if you spend a lot of time on the track.
Install is a real hassel and some of the stuff you do are permanent.
Right side is relativly easy and you will be able to get a decent amount of air through the hose.
Left side is really hard unless you remove the A/C condensor.

There is a DIY at www.p-car.com.
Let me know if you want to know more.

Here is a link, pictures a few posts down.
