So typical of magazines from this era. Facts are always jumbled and many times downright incorrect.

Factory boost settings for these are.

1994 3.6 Liter Turbo boost 0.79 to 0.85 bar 1991/2 3.3 Liter Turbo boost 0.75 to 0.81 bar. The 94 turbo S did have an increased spring to bring power up to 385bhp. Those acceleration numbers for the 3.3 appear off as well.

Yes.
My favorites are centered around my favorite car, the 964 Turbo S.
"The doors are carbon fiber". They are not.
"Roland Kussmaul was the project leader for the Turbo S". Kussmaul was race engineer for the 959 rally car effort. As near as I can figure out, he was out of the country during the development of the Turbo S.
It mind boggling that journalists don't feel the need to research their info. In my line of work, inaccuracies like that wouldn't be tolerated.

We've done the 0-100 kph test only a few times many year ago with our (then new for us) 3.6 Turbo.
We used a Driftbox to record timing, accelerations, etc, two people (around 150 kg) on board, Yoko tires. Tank not really sure but I at least half full every time.

We've got at least a 4.8s as advertised. Those repeatable consistently were in the lower 5s (5.2 achievable without much stress to the mechanics and without special techniques). Acceleration had a peak of 1.2 G (don't really remember at around which speed / revs)

Quite a street rocket for the '90s.

I also tested mine years ago using a Gtech unit. Old crappy but worked. 4.8s was about right. The big issue was 0-20 that was where the car is limited. It consumed most of the 4.8 sec.s. I never was one to dump the clutch and the turbo needs air or they are slugs. If you dumped the clutch the car would be far faster. On paper the 993TT is a faster car with AWD and more HP off the line. I had many friends with them and even one with uprated turbos and over 450 hp and once we were rolling I could easily pull on him. These are best in 2nd and 3rd gear. They pull like freight trains. I had mine out yesterday after driving my C2 and forgot what rockets they can be.

Very much so. My car reminds me of my old big block '70 Corvette with 475 lb-ft of torque. Second gear acceleration was better than sex with a strange woman.

Hey now. I owned that car when I was in my 30's. Believe it or not, some things are better than sex especially as we get older.
