3.6 Turbo Owned 17 Years
I have been polishing her for 17 years now!
Time has gone by fast, however, I have enjoyed every minute. It was a nice day on Saturday, so took a few photos.

I've always been someone who's held onto his toy cars for longer than most but I've said a record with my Turbo; 16 years.
This long-term ownership has allowed me to spend untold sums of $$$ improving the car both mechanically and cosmetically. I've really enjoys the process though.
I'm currently restoring the interior to eradicate a sub-standard custom upholstery jobs commissioned by the previous owner, returning it to stock (pictures coming).
In a year or two I project that I will run out of things to improve

Surprisingly I haven't had to do much to mine over the 17 years, other than regular maintenance and regular polish and wax. It has been the best car I have ever owned (on many levels), by far! Cheers

I know how you feel. I sold my polar silver RSA to buy the 3.6T in 2005. I wish I could have afforded both at the time!

I bought my 3.6 in 2004 which is now 18 years ago. I would describe the condition after 74 tkm as good, but not so good that it would be too bad to drive her.

That's great! I am at the point now where driving it at anytime other than early on Sunday mornings, is just no longer an option. I am also paying a lot more to insure it at an agreed value with a collector car insurance company.

Wow has it been that long since you sold the RSA? Boy has time flown by. Gorgeous example and I am sure you miss the RSA but owning a 3.6T is a special treat. Going on 20 years with mine.

This year will be 13 years for me and my 3.3. I feel exactly the same as when I sold my last street motorcycle, I spend more time looking out for idiots than enjoying the ride....... But I do love looking at it in the garage! Now drive with the lights on too, stupid.....

I might have a few to ask regarding production numbers both nationally and U.S. for the 3.6 Turbo soon. Cheers!
