Question C2 Turbo production...

Does anyone know how many C2 Turbo's were produced for each of it's 3 years?
'91 '92 '94 ?
Seems to me that there are quite a few 3.6's around for a hefty price. Many '91's
at varying prices, and only a few '92's...

Just curious...

According to the Bible:

1991 ROW ................... 2298
1991 US ........................ 674
1992 ROW .................... 836
1992 US ....................... 309
1993 ROW .................... 650
1993 US ........................ 288*
1994 ROW .................... 471
1994 US ....................... 466

*288 1993 US version turbo 3.6's were M718 coded, revising vin number to read as 1994 model year.

Hope this helps.

Hey Anthony,
Should have known you would have the answer... Anyway, I had a feeling there
were not many US '92's ... I was surprised at how few were available.

Thanks

One that nice out of 309 cars. You got yourself a rare beauty.

When does she arrive?

Les,

Most definitely, Specialty cars included. The 466 US cars include the 39 Flacbau's and the 19 project cars.

Red faster????? LOL LOL Les, Im begining to think your serious.

How is the new Flachbau?

David,

I don't know about you but the waiting is killer. I spent over a week on pins and needles in anticipation. I thought I would explode the last twenty four. The Blue color was much better than expected.

Anthony,
New black Flachbau is great and feels faster than my red one. Feels like it gets boost earlier and quicker. I am going to home depot to buy some red spray paint to remedy this. The red flachbau has never been touched and just had it's first oil change last November. So it may need some tuning or something because I know for a fact Porsche gave more boost to their red turbos.

Les,

Your making me sick. Another 97 turbo S. Most people would kill for one of each but two! It also looks like the GT2 is back on line. I bet not a single blue one in the bunch. You don't know what your missing.

I am glad to here the new Flachbau is everything expected, when you get tired of it and want to trade it for a faster blue car let me know.

When you get a chance please tell us more about the new toys.

Hey,
Yes, the waiting is a killer or in the words of a very well know rock and roll artist, "The waiting is the hardest part"...
By the way, it is a documented fact that both colbalt blue and midnight blue
are faster than red!
