Default Boost problems after new fuel pump

Guys; Any ideas on my problem. I took my car to the shop for unrelated work and they claimed it died as they took it into the shop. they replaced the rear fuel pump and since that time it restates to get to .7 bar then backs off to .4 then back to .7 and continues to do that. Looks like it it starving for fuel.....any ideas appreciated.

First check system and control pressures. Even though they just did a new pump. Check FD, is the plate smooth all the way and resting correctly. Check for air leaks. Check aux air valve. How old the fuel accumulator, and filter...this stuff..."flat spot during acceleration" maybe:

Does it "feel" like it's stumbling? I ask because you positively cannot trust what the on-board boost gauge is telling you.

Yes I get a major hesitation as it goes to boost with a shot of black smoke, I've had the hose from the intercooler to the turbo come off in the past and it feels like that. Sounds like an air leak but then boosts to .7 again.

You either have a hose off or your warm up regulator has gone bad.
If you don't have a hose off, have someone check the the control pressures.

Thanks Paul, my hoses look intact, I'll get it back to the shop.
