Default $110,00 flachbau on ebay. Whats wrong

Has anyone checked out the Flachbau on Ebay # 2460556560.

I always try to post the link and it never works.

Anyway is this the same car that was sold last week for about $95,000.

I looked at the pictures and it appears to be the same. I tried going to MarkS's sight and it does not seem to be working. I checked last weeks car and it was listed on his sight. I am not sure if it is the same VIN#.

Take a look at the interior of this car it is missing a speaker grill and the seats appear to have more like 50k miles than 13K.

The owner claims he recently had the car dynoed and it showed 400 rwhp with no mods. How can that be? That would make it about 460 fwhp instead of 381.

He also claims it has the 4 pipe tips which it should, yet the pictures show stock 3.6 tips.

Any input

The red fachbau, in Orlando with 10,000 miles is still for sale it did not sell. It can be had for 85. It has aftermarket dash, chromed wheels and aftermarket piping on the seats. Thats why it has not sold. The new one on ebay is possibly stuck with a issue as to accurate miles. Mark Smith the operator of Flachbau.com thinks the car may have 28,000 miles not 13,000 miles according to his records. Best to contact Mark if you are interested in car.

Nice,

I think I remember this place from when I lived in LaJolla years ago. Nice selection.

Les, have you been talking to my wife. She said almost those same words to me last night as she presented me with the newly revised expanded plans for the addition she wants to add to a house that we only use half of. Unfortunately I didn't see anything in the plans for the expanded garage work shop I asked for.

It looks like I have some issues to talk over before I get to buy another Pcar. Although the GT2 is sweet I like to mix up the colors a bit. If i was to invest in a GT2 I think it would be Polar Silver or Fly Yellow. But right now it's a dream. My wife always wins. Or is it I always loose?

So Ray will fix the issues and we will see it listed for what ...... $129k?

I should have bought it and fixed it up for $85K, oh well.

I bought my car from Ray and all the cars he has are basicaly factory original. He has probably owned more of these '94 flachbau 's than anybody else.
I am not sure why you feel he would '....add all that junk' to the cars, check out his site and I think you may have a different opinion.

My car was parked at a summer 02 PCA event, and alongside was a flachbau black/black, NJ plates, with RPM license frames. Damn thing was gorgeous and bone stock.

Maverick,
I was not intending to insult Ray. I have heard nothing but great things about him. I was told by Mark Smith from flachbau.com that Ray had added carbon fibre dash and red piping to the flachbau. I would have bought the car if not for the modifications. Modifying one of the 39 flachbau's is junk to me. Maybe others would find it an upgrade. The car has historic value in my opinion, so I don't understand why anyone would modify it. But thats only my very insignificant opinion. As a matter of fact I have never heard an unkind word about Ray and that is rare in his business. And yes he is one of the most knowledgeable dealers in regard to the flachbau. And he helps get the word out about the car of which I own two. I only have good things to say about RPM.
