Here's a link for you to read, Most likely a bad injector, Please remember this info is intended for the 930 turbo 3.3, But most the info applies to the 965 turbo as well.

The tenney tiny pintle springs get weak and/or break.
Spend the $$$ and buy new injectors. You will need the alumimum crush washers for them too.

Those teeney winy springs don't get replaced when having them cleaned/serviced? Any difference between "Bosch" units and P units? 96411023520 Injection is all Bosch so. $600 cheaper to buy Bosch units. Makes sense?
Should I also replace pressure regulator? O-rings get flat etc.

When I was trying to clean injectors I observed the following: I could get the old injectors to open with a heated can of carb cleaner and straw that comes with the can. The new injectors wouldn't open at all. The nice, new pintle springs were much stiffer than the 25 year old ones. I would bet that this is your problem.
Also, given the way the injectors are constructed, I don't think there's a meaningful way to get them clean anyway and I don't care what anyone else says about that.
Pelicanparts wants $63 per injector. You spent a crazy amount for your 3.6 Turbo and now you want to cut corners? Those are among the cheapest parts you will buy for your car.
This is the correct injector. It screws into the injector block so that it isn't ejected when the boost comes on:

Hey hey hey no I am certainly not cutting corners - cleaning was a suggestion on one of my earlier posts in this forum, but I appreciate this insight. I am seeing $200 an injector everywhere incl Pelican - maybe you have a different product page?
Any thoughts re pressure regulator?

Hey there Porsche friends
I'm thinking of replacing my injectors on my next service, my car is now 26 years old in July. It can't hurt, I did see $63 injector price on pelican for my car. The pressure reg is also a good idea to change as well and cheap, just make sure that you use the same shims from the old ones and you should be good, if your not using fuel pressure gauges to adjust the system pressure.
