Default Recover Sport Seats

Hey guys,

My car didn’t come with sport seats but I’ve always wanted to get a pair. If I pull the trigger on a used set I’d probably get them recovered being that my interior has deviated piping/carpet.

I’ve never really had any work done by an upholsterer and was curious what you think the cost to recover two sport seats would be?

Thanks as always.

I have sport seat cores that have been sitting in my basement for 3 years.
Cost here in Detroit by Classic 9 (local to me) is somewhere around $3000.
The project has been cancelled

Yes.
I've put a lot of money in my car over the years so I'm taking a break to spend it on some of my other hobbies:

Paul, your pup looks a little jealous!

Would you consider unloading those cores or are you plan on holding on to them for the future?

No. I really don't care for any hollow body guitars. I don't even own an acoustic guitar.

IMO, I can't beat a Les Paul's for tone but it's an individual thing, what is great tone.
I've always associated hollow bodies with the prior generations (my dad loves them, for example).
Ted Nugent goes on and on about his Byrdlands but I have zero respect for the guy; the major reason that I'll never own one (and they're stupid expensive).
Stefan, do you play?

Paul,

Not any more

Grew up in Beyreuth and studied violin and cello for way longer than I care to remember.

Moved on to percussion and played with friends who also studied in Beyreuth, did that till it became

something too close to spinal tap.

I now waste my time on other things.
