Pipe from the wastegate....please help!
I spend two nights preparing my car for a valve adjustment.
Everything is set for the actually adjustment which I hopefully will start doing tomorrow.
Here goes the question:
The wastegate has two pressure steel pipes connected to it, one of them is connected to the IC left side via a rubber hose, no problem there, but where is the other one supposed to be connected ?
The problem I have is that this steel pipe got disconnected from whatever it was connected to, and I can't find a loose hose to connect it to. I guess it should be connected to the turbo housing, but I am not sure.
Thanks for your help!

Staffan,
I believe you are talking about the line off the top of the WG not the side. This should lead to the intake system via a rubber hose.
Good luck,

Hi Anthony
One of the lines is connected to the intercooler left side, the other one I now learned, is supposed to be connected to nothing, just a vent but protected from water behind the heat shield.
I finnished the valve adjustment last night, there was very little adjustment to do, in all I did very small adjustments to 3 valves.
Will write a seperate post about this.

I guess the 3.6's are different than the 3.3's the line off the top of the US 3.6 wastegate leads to the intake system. Maybe emissions issues.
