lightweight flywheel
I have a stock dual mass flywheel and has the regular set up with one missing tooth on the outer edge (circumference) next to the starter ring gear which i understand is for the reference sensor to read and tell the ecu where is the crank position.
With the lightweight flywheel i just got from LA dismantlers, there are no markings so i don't know who makes. it does not have the teeth on the outside of the flywheel and i am wondering if it will work with my stock ecu. It has 3 sections with 3 large gaps. each of the 3 sections takes up about 1/6 of the circumference of the outside of the flywheel and the 3 'spaces' also take up about 1/6 of the outside circumference.
Question is: will this work with my stock ecu?

Is one of the sections larger than the other two? If so it sounds more like a turbo flywheel.

okay just verified it looks like a 965 flywheel. probably runs on cis vs dme and doesn't use the same crank position sensor? rats!! may have to wait until my distributorless and maf conversion!!
