3 weeks in UK - no 964's!!!
I just got back from 3 weeks in the Wilmslow/Woodford are of Cheshire. Whilst there I did make a few trips up the M60/M6 to Windermere and the Lakes and saw plenty of Porsches but disappointingly no 964's!
In Cheshire it was all 996's - lots and lots of them, on the motorway It seemed like I saw a ton of Boxster's and in Cumbria mainly a few older, pre-964 911's!
Leaving Manchester on Wednesday the last UK Porsche I saw was actually inside the terminal in a display for a raffle - a silver 996 C4. As I had a quick sit inside it the sales guy asked me if I wanted to enter the competition - "No thanks!" says I, "I just want to get home to my far more beautiful 964!"

If I'd packed my 964 it would have been a different story Christer!
Although cold turkey WAS starting to set in - another week and I probably would have been posting begging for someone just to drive one past the window to relieve the shakes!!!!!

Actually I would have been completely humiliated if any Rennlisters were around - its been 12 years since I've really driven in the UK. I rented a Rover 25 at MAN and driving it home from the airport in the dark and rain I curbed it...not once but TWICE!! First time coming off a roundabout and second I just drifted to the left!!
...no problems thank god for the next 2 weeks as I adjusted naturally after an hour or two of driving but I have to say that as a Porsche owner the experience was humbling!! :-)
