after blowing up to connecting rod bearings # 1 and #2 and realizing i forgot to replace the shaft plug that goes behind the mickey mouse rabbit ears, i am investigating any other possible cause.

does anyone have a good diagram showing how the cool/hot oil flows on our cars?

my oil pump also seized so will take apart to find the cause. too much chunks of metal in it?

 

mickey mouse rabbit ears means mickey mouse shaped cover that opens to the intermediate shaft just below the main crank / pulley ... got a little distracted for a second there...
