what a superb outlaw .. my favorite kind where you can't quite spot the deviations til you stare. #kudos

Love the dash too .. Ivo just do me one while youre at it

How the FF shifter feel? Delrin exterior? Hot/Cold to the touch dep on the weather or somewhat neutral?
Nice & solid & heavy?

And the paint - is that new or just superb polish and ceramic coat etc..?? what a pearl!

I hope you get to the rear decklid detail soon .. is the airflow easy as it looks like a very dense gauze.

FF is black aluminum (not Delrin) - I haven't noticed it's temperature being to cold or hot so far but I haven't been in 32 or 100 degree weather yet. I love the feel as it his heavier (but not too heavy). I was able to adjust the height as the original was a bit low for me.

The hood, front bumper/splitter, and rear deck were freshly painted then just buffed and polished. No ceramic coating. There is plenty of patina that the distance hides. Honestly I don't need the stress of a perfect paint job.

Here are some more rear deck pics:

Who did the Mobil and Heuer decals, and what color vinyl are they?

Do you think the dash will be dangerous to the passenger if the passenger airbag deploys?

I ordered matte black for both, big fan of the "ghosted" look (matte black on shiny black paint)

Mobil:

Heuer:

Airbag: Is it possible that the veneered dash piece could become a projectile if the passenger airbag is deployed? I suppose anything is possible. So far the car hasn't had a passenger to worry about as my wife prefers the ride of the GTS or her Boxster. (Please forgive her as we are in the 964 forum). She does, however, appreciated the beauty of it. The airbag could be removed or disabled if you wanted the look without this possible risk.

I added this one on the passenger's side yesterday. Car-bone will custom make you any color. This is a matte black exterior sticker.

Beautiful car! Love the execution.

What adhesive did you use to lay the fabric onto the metal dash trim?

Gotta say, Love the retro dash treatment.
Chrome isn't my thing for exterior bits, but since it's yours -- rock on, man!
