Starter Wiring
I have had the car apart too long - can't remember detaisl any more.
There ar etwo red wires that run to the starter (one very thick, one fairly thick), and one very thick black wire (connected to chassis right over motor).
This is how I think I am supposed to connect them:
1. Thick black goes to the top bolt that holds the starter to the transmission case. (Allen Head Nut)
2. The two red wires are hooked up to what I think isthe solenoid. (smaller 6 mm) nut.

black wire is engine earth to chassis .
bolts to bottom bolt fixing starter to transmission , then to chassis above transmission to right (looking from rear of car)
the chassis earth fixing is brass (excellent idea) so a quick scrub with wire-wool/sandpaper is all thats needed .
thick red wire goes where you have it , as does main feed from battery .
